Posters For Anzac Day

Room Four has made awesome posters about Anzac day and World War One. We went to three different memorials so that we could write down three names from world war one, we went to Mapua, Motueka.  We also went to lower Moutere but the names weren't there because they got moved to Upper Moutere. We then looked up information about the certain person that you chose and made an awesome poster and we also had to find out where the person we chose got buried and a map of where it is. The posters will be put up in the Motueka and Mapua library.

Art

On Friday Mrs Deck came in with us to do Art. First we covered our page with different colours then we blended it in from the middle is light and from the side it was dark.We then let it dry and then we drew pretty black birds on the page to make it look like they are flying away or flying to you.Here is my painting.

There was a city and people lived in it and there was and king who ordered that no one is to pray to God and if they do they will be in the lions den and be eaten by them but Daniel was a true person of chucked God and he prayed every night he got found out by the king and got chucked  in the lions den.

Our school is learning about God is our Provider we had to make posters about different things that God has Provided for us I chose the sun because it is an amazing  miracle l and it had an amazing source of heat for us humans to live.

GYMNASTICS TBCS

GYMNASTICS

On Friday the fifth of July 2013 some of the yr 7-8 students from TBCS went to the gymnastics. They had to practise it every Friday. They had to do a dance to a song called 'Titanium'. Miss Aldrigde took us to the Rec Centre where the Gym took place. We all did very well and I can’t wait to do it again next year.

Here is everybody eating tea.

On Wednesday the 12th of June 2013 there was a sleepover at room four. We learnt about Papua New Guinea and their life in a place with dirty water, and how we can help them with the 40 hour famine. On the same night as that we played spotlight and watched a movie. We had fish and chips and sausages in bread for tea and lots of junk food. In the morning we made toast and milo for breakfast and watched another movie. Miss Gibson did all of the girl's hair in French Plats and she is really good at it. Pamela had to run around giving people tomato sauce and her arm started getting tired. I loved the sleep over I wish that we could do this every year. Pamela and Liam. P made this all happen thanks guys.:)

Summer Tournament

Summer Tournament.

Room four went to the summer tournament on the 26^th of March 2013.

We have three sports Ultimate Frisbee, Touch rugby and Volleyball. Our first sport for the day was volleyball we lost three games and tied one. We were really good on that one. It was really funny because sometimes the ball hit random people and it was funny.

Our next spot was Ultimate Frisbee it was so fun. I finally got to the throw the Frisbee into the middle. Ultimate Frisbee is like basketball except with a Frisbee and there’s no basket ball hoop.

Our next sport was Touch. I scored a try and so did Tia. Fletcher sprinted to the try line and then he passed it to Tia and she scored a try. It was a great strategy.

My overall quote about that day was awesome I got really fit for my other sports and it brought me and my friends closer together.

This year im doing MoTec. MoTec is a place that alot of year 7 and 8s go to and and learn how to do stuff like ,sowing ,cooking ,building ,and making. Today I did cooking with Renee and we made pizza hawian flavour it was delicious. I cant wait till next year because we get

to do diffrent stuff.
