0n Friday the 4th of November Aroha, Cora, Tui, Ethan, Kase, Asher, Risi, Pearl, Liam, Petoru, Pamela, Tangiwai, Me and Monica went to Nelson to play Ki-O-Rahi.

 There were many teams but we only got to verse three teams.

We lost two of our games so we didn’t get in to the final.

On our last game against Nelson Intermediate  they cut

it was an awesome day. Our game was short because it was starting to rain, but we would have won if we had a full game.

MoTec

Last week at MoTec I finished off my cushion.

My cushion is black and has a dog with a bone on it.  It took me two sessions at MoTec to finish it.

Now I am making a foot stool.  We have to sew two straight rows down a piece of square fabric. After that we have to make up a square frame, then we have to stick the fabric onto the frame.

It is going to be fun to make it and it will look good.

Rainy Day

Today is Thursday. It is a very cold miserable day. The rain is bucketing down. You can see drip after drop down the window, the whole place is a wet mess. The deck is wet, so is the playground.


“Isn't it a wet, yucky day?” Ethan said.
“Yes it is, it is a wet, soggy day,” I said to Ethan.
“I hate wet days, we can't  play outside,” said Ethan.
  

“What would you do if you could play in the rain?” I said to Ethan.
“I would jump in the puddles, and do bombs in the ponds of mud and get saturated.”
“Same here,”  I said in a exited voice.

A Rainy Day

MOTEC

At Motec 
At Motec we are making cushions. My cushion is black and it has a green dog with a green bone. It is going to have an open end at the back. I have to sew it all by myself. We had to cut out the fabric then we had to cut out a green dog and bone. We then had to pin it on and then we had to sew. I didn’t get to start sewing last week because I was to busy helping people finish off their wheat bags.

I Saw a Crash!

I saw a crash!  I’m Bob. I am a Detective Inspector. I saw two people in a car that had hit another car with three people in it. I blinked for a moment then I ran for the phone.   I dialled 111. 
I got a fire truck and an ambulance and a police car.  They put out the fire and got the people to the hospital.
Two people died overnight from head injuries. The crash was caused by a traffic light that was wrong.

Summer Sports

On Thursday the 7 of April we went to summer sports at the back of the Rec Centre.
We played ultimate Frisbee, then playball then volleyball. We won all 5 of our playball games, one of our volleyball games and one of our Ultimate Frisbee.
We came first for fairplay. We got a chocolate fish.
When we got back at school we got to have a Juicie.

Getting an Injection

Getting an Injection

On Tuesday 22 of March I had to have an injection on my left shoulder.  When I went into the injection room I was scared out of my skin. The needle was at least 5 centimetres long.  When I saw the needle I felt like fainting.  When the needle went in the pain started.  When the needle came out I was relieved that it was over and done with. After waiting 20 minutes we went back to the class room.
I was so glad it was over.

More Awesome Things - Losing My Lunchbox

This morning I lost my lunch box.  I looked on the couch and on the bench but I could not find it. On the way out I remember that I had all ready put it in my bag.

Awesome Thing - Diving

Diving into the blue water and seeing all the schools of fish and one lonely shark .   Soon you see a moray eel  to scare you out of your skin and a baby turtle and its mum and dad follows .
