FreeRice
www.freerice.com is a website where you can answer questions like maths reading and writing ones and its for the people in Syria, every question we get right we donate 10 grains of rice if we get 10 questions right it feeds one person. I think that it is a really good website to go on because we are helping people that are suffering. The people who run is the united nations world food program.

Homework
This is my ginger bread house I made for my homework. First you have to make the dough, then you have to cook it. When it's done you make the glue which you can eat and glue on the lollies and the pieces of the house. I made it because it is really delicious and it's Christmasy.

Art Attack
This Term Room Three
and Four have been doing Art Attack with Miss Aldridge. The topic we were doing
was called Massive. Massive is a big contest in Motueka, and it’s every two years. Every time it has
a different subject that the play has to relate to, this year the subject is
Bright. So we're going to do something with a bright future, it starts with
a war then it goes into a funeral with dancing, so it has a happy ending.

Jacob
On Wednesday the 12th of June 2013 Room 4 at Tasman Bay Christian School had a class sleepover for the 40 hour famine for Papua New Guinea. Laim and Pamela organized it for us. We got chips, sausages and fizzy drinks for dinner and toast and milo for breakfast, it was really nice! We slept on the floor. Then we watched a movie called Wreck-it Ralph and in the morning we watched Jumunji then we started school.
It is very sad in Papua New Guinea because some kids only live up to the age of 5!

Summer
Sports
On Tuesday the 26th of March
room four did summer sports at the Motueka rec centre.
It
was only supposed to be the year sevens and eights but the year six’s went as well.
The summer sports is a rotation of three games Ultimate Frisbee, Touch Rugby
and Volleyball.
Ultimate Frisbee is a bit like netball
because you can’t run with it and you have to pass but if somebody throws it
and the opposition hits it down then it’s theirs. You have to pass it down the
court and into the circle to score a point.
Touch rugby is when you run with an oval
shaped ball down a field trying not to get touched by the opposition and score
a try, but if you do get touched you have to roll it under your legs and
somebody in your team has to pick it up and pass it to another player then that
player can run and try to score.
Volleyball has a big net in the middle of
a court and a team on each side. One team starts with the ball and serves. Then
the other team has to try and hit it back over. Then it keeps on going there
and back until somebody misses it. Then the team who didn’t miss, gets to serve,
but you have to rotate every time it’s your turn to serve. So one person goes
off and another person goes on, so everybody has to move one space forward.
My favourite one was probably volley
ball.
Summer sports was awesome!!!!!!!

Stopping demo
On the 20th of March 2013 we went to a stopping demo on Grey Street there was a man who was running it. They put out three pictures on cardboard of people the cardboard was in a triangle shape and in the middle of it was tomato sauce the cardboard was spread out but only one of them got ran over. There were two people in a car they did a different speeds until they hit the cardboard first they did 20 and when we stop he stopped and he missed the cardboard then he did 50 and when we said stop he stopped and missed the cardboard again then he went 60 and when we said stop he stopped but he hit the cardboard and tomato sauce came out! It was teaching us not to go fast in a car and to keep our seatbelts on until you stop.
